This powerful quote resonated with me deeply this morning as it is the first day in the last month of the year. Wow! We made it thus far! Thank God.

It is certainly a time for reflection as we recap on our health goals; body, mind, and spirit. How can we finish the year stronger than how we started? #finishstrong

No blame, no judgment, no heartache but just pressing forward to the goals set ahead of us.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends.

Mine was great, but boy was the cornbread calling my name repeatedly (don’t judge me 🤦🏾‍♀️😀)

I didn’t do too bad this year, thank God because I set my intentions from the beginning, filled up with vegetables, and hydrated with water.

I want to share my favorite Apple Cider Turmeric Detox Drink with you in case you are in the same boat as I am and feeling a little bit bloated.

Recipes for #SoulfoodSaturday:
✅1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
✅1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
✅¼ teaspoon turmeric ( I blended two roots)
✅1 cup hot or warm water
✅Honey, or more to taste (optional, to sweeten)
✅pinch of cayenne pepper powder
