I am just wondering on this #WellnessWednesday if you have ever said "It cost so much to be healthy"?

I have and it is true but guess what is more costly? Treating preventable lifestyle-related diseases, here is the data to prove it:

👀85 to 90% of healthcare dollars are spent on chronic diseases
👀It is estimated that 80% of chronic diseases are actually attributed to modifiable risk factors
👀Roughly 1/3 of cancers could have been prevented with improved lifestyle factors.

Wouldn't you say it is worth the investment in our time and lifestyle behaviors to adopt a holistic and healthier approach to our overall well-being so as to avoid spending an excessive amount of money on monthly prescription pills, doctors' appointments, labs, radiation, etc?

A gentle reminder that "NOTHING CHANGES IF YOU'RE NOT PRIORITIZING YOUR HEALTH."
